Easter is just around the corner and that means the school holidays are about to start too! It's the perfect time to enjoy the family Easter holidays! And with the sunshine and warmth, there are plenty of exciting things to keep the little ones entertained!
This year, Easter starts on Sunday 24th March with 'Palm Sunday' and ends on 31st March. The school holidays continue until Sunday 7th April, so get ready to spend a few days full of fun and togetherness with your family!
Today we present you different plans to make the most of this time together:
Enjoy a full day at Alcúdia Beach, one of the most popular and family-friendly beaches in Mallorca. This beach stretches for several kilometres and offers crystal clear waters and fine sand, making it the perfect place to relax and have fun with the family. Children can build sandcastles and play beach games. Adults can relax in the Mediterranean sun, read a book or just enjoy the view while the little ones have fun.
Discover the natural beauty of Mallorca with an excursion to the Natural Park of S'Albufera. This park is home to a wide variety of birds, plants and animals, and offers a unique opportunity to observe wildlife in its natural habitat. You can explore the nature trails that wind through the wetlands and forests, and enjoy the tranquillity and serenity of the surroundings. Don't forget to bring a picnic to enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by nature.
Admire the majesty of Bellver Castle in Palma de Mallorca. This medieval castle, built in the 14th century, sits atop a hill and offers spectacular panoramic views of the city and the sea. Explore the castle's fortifications and corridors, and visit the museum inside, which houses a fascinating collection of historical artefacts and works of art. Children can participate in interactive activities and learn about the island's history in a fun and educational way.
Embark on a scenic journey aboard the Tren de Sóller, one of Mallorca's most popular tourist attractions. This historic train travels through picturesque mountain scenery, passing through tunnels and valleys before arriving in the charming village of Sóller. During the journey, you can enjoy breathtaking views and take memorable photographs. Once in Sóller, you can explore the village, enjoy a delicious ice cream in the main square and visit the local church. In our last blog post we explained all the things to do in Sóller. You can see it here.
On the occasion of the long-awaited Easter holidays, many of Mallorca's amusement and theme parks are ready to welcome visitors and offer an unforgettable experience, especially for the little ones during Easter!
